Default What pro photographer do you look up to?

So what pro photographer do you look up to? I really - really enjoy the photo's of Andy Biggs, pro wildlife photographer...

...and my dad, Kelly Bolin.
p.s. thanks for getting me into photography dad!

I give a lot of credit to these guys... because I couldn't get to where I am now... have a great job with a magazine, and I'm not even out of high school!

Like Zona, most of my inspiration comes from here and my contacts on flickr. Thinking outside the box, I would have to say Chema Madoz. Even if quite a few people don't consider him a photographer.

I think Chema Madoz work is some of the most inspiring and creative photography I have seen. His images are filled with meaning and simplicity, I've enjoyed the vast majority of his work I've seen. It's not uncommon for an artist to have a few really great images but I find the majority of Chema's work to stand above the rest. I think it takes real talent to make consistently good images like his.

Not necessarily in this order:

Sandy Puc'
Jody Otte
Carrie Sandoval & Brittany Woodall (Baby As Art)
Linnea Lenkus

Those are just off the top of my head. LOTS more. There are tons of others that are not as well known that I really admire, too.

I am in awe of the photographs of the posters here. You guys do an awesome job. I can only hope mine ever look half as good.

Also, I enjoy the photos/work of John Gaps III. He is a photographer here in Iowa who has done all sorts of different photography. I took a class by him recently and he is one of the most down to earth people you could ever hope to learn from.
