Say your taking some portrait photos in your home/studio or where ever do you tend to listening to music?
If so what music, why and How does it help? I tend to listen to a mixed play list of serious and fun songs so it changes the mood of who ever I'm photographing. For example if I was taking family photos I would play Ayumi Hamasaki in the background to get a more peaceful/loving atmosphere. I also tend to listen to a lot of Japanese music which helps because then I can play songs with offensive language and no one will notice .Music while editing?

I always have the radio on, local station cos it's 95% music. Seems to help people relax cos they're used to hearing it around here.

I do the same as Wood: I dont usually shoot families, but whenever I shoot a model I have him/her choose music that's appropriate. I've done a few fashion shoots with some good beats and so on, or some serious shoots with calmer music.
