Default How much do you upload on flickr?

I've encountered a dilemma, I think I may be uploading way too many shots on flickr making my stream look quite boring since its many similar shots (but not of the same thing), I was thinking of being more selective and doing something along the lines of:

If ive taken (liked, and processed, this is after deleting bad ones):

<25 photos: Upload 50%
25-50: 25%
50-100: 20%
100+: 10%

It would force me to focus a lot more on quality and I would probably spend more time refining in photoshop (something which i hardly do since i have to go through so many photos)

Do you guys do anything of the sort? Or do you upload every single thing you take?

No where near everything I take. Basically just the shots I post here, plus a few others for some groups I'm in.

I definitely don't put everything I shoot up on Flickr. I'm more like 5-10% I think. It may even be less. I don't like putting up similar shots, I pretty much do my favourite of the subject, maybe more than one if I've gotten another shot in a different way.

I wish I could upload to flickr.
They did some server/script changes to where it logged my out of the system and I have no clue what email address I used at the time to log in. So now I can not log in and upload, the only time during the month I wanted to upload I got denied. Now I have to wait, wait, wait for a reply from flickr.

I have about 60 photos on flickr. It's not even close to what I have on my computer but it's the ones I find to be the best.

Well, I use Flickr to keep family updated on my kids as well as for my landscape work, and to link back to my daily photo for my blog, so my situation is a little bit different. I'd say I upload 2-3 photographs a day, possibly more if I've taken what I feel to be really nice ones. What I do try to do, however, is scan through every week or so, and if a photo hasn't gotten many (or any) views or no comments, I'll change it to private. Then I have it there for my use for the blog or whatever, but you guys wouldn't see it clogging up my stream. Also every so often I'll go through and purge some that I thought were nice at the time but now are lacking for some reason or another. I've been on Flickr just over a year and my stream is nearing 800 photos, but I group them into sets so they're there to view at a glance if desired.

I didn't even know about Flickr until I joined Darren's digital Photography School. Earthlink sent out a newsletter and clued me in about DPS. So I basically upload my photos for DPS and this forum.

Everything I want to keep goes on Flickr. However, not everything is made public. I will often do an initial sort to discard images I never want to see again, upload the rest to Flickr as private or family-only (as I share an interest in photography with some of my family and they will also be interested in things like where I have been as well as the quality of the photos) and then, a few days later, release a selected few shots for general availability.

Generally, I try not to put on more than about 4-6 pictures a day for public viewing, even when I have more lined up (although I occasionally make exceptions).

I basically am using flickr as a faster mode for things that I don't use on my website, and then also for showing stuff for this board. Flickr makes it easy for me to resize my pictures to put on here and I don't have to try to folder things on my computer in just a way so the batch conversion will pick them up for webpage creation. Right now, that's not a lot of my total shots...

I hit the maximum 200 photos for the free account in four months, so now I think I'll go back and do a massive reorganization of select photos. I had originally intended to use it as a repository for all my photos (starting with vacations), but I guess no one needs to see 7 shots of the same building from slightly different angles.
