Wow, Kodak has finally came up with something new and great. Can't wait to try it out! Just not planning on taking pictures of cow fields....

Hehe, oh, comeon Max, you know you love it. I look forward every year to the new offerings from thinkgeek.com not to mention, being from kansas, the google website change this year is most amusing.

The circular sensor gag on dpreview was fun.

But the Jeff Ascough one on the "AF digital rangefinder" (now down and all tweets protected) was truly annoying because it hit so closely to what we'd all love to hear announced by a Canon Ambassador. I fell for it on the first entry (especially since it was posted two days ago in the runup), but by the second one ("Tri-X/HCB mode!" "Luminance Optimized Optical Framelines", AND a 35/1.2) it was clear it was a gag.

BTW, in case you missed any of them, someone blogged the full list of Google gags. I'm particularly fond of the disemvoweling of the main gmail page.

The one from Google was pretty lame, not even close to funny. Just.... lame, boring and not really creative in my opinion.

The really good ones are ones that make you go, "Wait... are you for rea-... no... wait.... what?... are you sure--....I'm going to Google that right now!"

The painfully obvious 'pranks' or jokes bore me to tears.

I'm with you on the love fest for the prankiest day of the year. Today we put a baby stroller in my (male, not even close to wanting a baby right now) boss' office complete with a bow and a congratulatory card. Since his office door stays open all day and night we had a nice dual effect. People who came looking for him thought that maybe he was going to have a family and when he saw it, he just about had a heart attack wondering if he was about to be a daddy. We did set people straight if they asked us and added "Happy April Fools Day" to our well wishes in the card.

The CrunchPad do-it-yourself kit was probably my favorite thing yesterday.

Hulu's "For Internal Use Only" video was pretty good as well.

Yes, but considering the number of people I know in Topeka that were all posting about wanting the Google fiber there, this was a lovely mockery of that. Not Google's best ever (the disemvoweling GMail this year was fun), but it was certainly amusing for those of us in the area. Much more so than say, whenever I said I was from Kansas people would ask if I knew Dorothy or Toto..
