hmmm, i was rather to surprised to see that there was only one other person (aside from me) who comes from asia (or is that accessing the site from there?).

I'm from Seattle, Washington.

I also have relatives in DC, in South Carolina, in Georgia, and in Nova Scotia. So some of my pictures since getting my new camera have been in the DC area, and in theory, I'll go and visit my Nova Scotia kin sometime next year, so may have maritime pics too!
