Default Do you blog?

Hey guys, I was wondering who has an active blog? Is yours more on just your photo's or on interesting articles? I find blogs with updating articles are much harder to find than people doing a 365day project.

Personally I think everyone should blog! It's builds an important part in a photographers portfolio and develops an online identity. That is what may bring in new clients that stumble upon your site.

Here's something I wrote up on why photographers should blog. Thought you guys may be interested in reading Should Photographers Blog? | Rule of Thirds Photography

I actually just started a blog! As I'm just learning the ropes of photography, I'm using it to show my improvement (if any) over time. This way, both hobbies work to motivate me to improve in each one!

There's only one post up right now, but here's a link if you want to check it out!

I have my daily blog where I sometimes make up articles from things I have learned. Nothing much else. I occasionally look for guest posters, and might be offering videos soon :P

Yes (see my sig) -- currently it's been converted into my Project 365 blog, so it's mainly just photos and a brief story or caption.

I occasionally do write articles. Actually, my "how to install and use gphoto2" article has been the single most popular page on my blog, attracting hundreds of extremely frustrated people. :P

I also blog as well. I started it almost a year ago in order to track my growth from the beginning stages to where I am now. A lot of my followers, mostly friends, are quite amazed at how far my photography as evolved in the months following.

I have a fairly new photography blog I'm working on. It's mostly articles so far, but there'll be more of my own photography on there as well I think. The posts are on Photoshop, photography, and just general photoish things. I'm using it to give myself some structure to practicing photography, and meet other photographers along the way. So far it's been great fun! http://blog.vrindawebb.com

I've also been searching for more in depth photography blogs, but a lot are just single photos every now and then, and so on. I'm curious about peoples' lives as photographers.

Yep.

I'm actually moving mine over to my own domain/hosting soon, I wnat to get business cards made and don't want to use wordpress.com.

I keep it focused on what I'm shooting, but I have a linked Twitter that I use for sharing articles. I might start up a second linked blog for articles and other people's photos that I want to talk about.

Blogging has been pretty instrumental in keeping me shooting.
