Default Music While Editing?

Do you play any music while you edit pictures? I have a whole playlist of my favorite songs that I play while I edit pictures.

If you do play music, what songs do you listen to?
I listen to alot of Taylor Swift and a few random things but mostly Taylor Swift haha

If you don't play music while you edit then why? Too distracting? I like listening to music while I edit pictures. I actually get some good ideas with some of the songs I play.
(example: I was listening to "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" and came up with this: http://www.flickr.com/photos/lindsienicole/4468165467/ )

Always plenty of Pantera, Metallica, Mastadon, Devil Driver, Primer 55 and Brad Paisley on my rotation.

This looks like a game of "Which one of these doesn't belong". LOL

I just go to pandora and type in REO and I'm set.

I used to listen to music by just putting my iTunes on shuffle. Then it would always play that one random one or the ones I don't want (naturally) so I would stop editing and search for a certain song and then end up downloading more music completely forgetting about finishing up my pictures. Now I just leave it off or run the TV unless i can find the 'perfect' playlist...

Yes. I just turn on my satellite radio and find a channel that matches my mood that day. Mostly blues, honky tonk, classic rock, old school soul, maybe some under ground garage. I do know the Ramones make me edit faster. Not sure if that's good or not.

It depends on what kind of mood i want to generate. If i want the result to be something sweet, then i prefer listening to some romantic pieces of music. I usually listen to intstrumental music because to me, lyrics are distraction, what i need from music is simply the mood. I can get this mainly from instrumentals. My favourite: new age(Jim Chappell, Kevin Kendle, Kevin Kern, etc), jazz (David Benoit, Hiroko Kokubu, sometimes Dave Koz), and OST of some games such as Legend of Legaia, Chrono Cross, etc.
