Default Nikkor 14-24 f/2.8... Can't attach filters??

Hi All,

I was tring to find an ND filter for the above so I can take longer exposures in daylight and I've heard that I won't be able to attach filters to it.

Is this true?? How will I be able to attach the ND then??

Thanks!

Uhmm... No, you can't.

There's a "kit" out there that basically just has a frame that sits in front of the lens, but won't be able to use usual filters.

Did you not pay attention to any of the warnings or reviews before you plunked down $1,700?

Cokin makes a universal adapter ring for their X-Pro system. Lee has also announced a new product that will allow you to use filters with the 14-24. Check the links in this thread: New Lee Filter holder for Nikon 14-24mm

Clearly weren't reading any very good reviews then.

Besides, when you saw pictures, did you not notice that massive GLOBE OF GLASS on the front of it?
