Is This a Scam?

Has anyone used wix.com for making a website? They offer free flash websites but I'm wondering if it is for real or not.

Also, what about webs.com, they offer free websites (not flash) too but again, don't know if it's a scam.....

If anyone has had experience with either one I'd love to hear it.

Oh, it's real. But it's also generally crap. They give you free hosting and offer flash templates, but you HAVE to use their templates (which arent that great) and they put their logo all over the place.

Honestly, getting your own hosting is cheap as chips (very literally, actually)

Thanks, I'll go with jitZul instead, they give free websites to artists and don't stick there logo anywhere (except a very small thing at the bottom of the page saying powered by jitZul NET).
I applied and got accepted! There's a waiting list though, so I won't be starting till May.
