Talking You'll regret if you click here, lol

Anyone giving away their 5D Mark II? or maybe just a 50D? i wouldnt mind accepting them. oh yeah, and some 50mm 1.2L, or 70-200/f2.8?? a couple of 580EXs would be more than great hahahaha

i warned you....

dont get so serious, ive been wanting those things above. theyre just so expensive, i cant afford them. for now, ill just stick to my 500D n the slow 18-55 and keep shooting, keep learning.

well, people say that the man behind the camera is more important than the gear. i agree, but still....i love portraits with good bokeh, but im frustrated that i cant create good enough bokeh with my 18-55 f3.5-5.6...sigh. is there any way that i could cheat?

You should have asked for a 85 f/1.2 L II or 200 f/2 L IS instead of the 50 f/1.2 L if you like a good portrait lens.

yup, that'll do, thanx....anyone giving those away? ,

i want good lenses not only for bokeh but also for thin DoF n low light, so i thought 50.F1.2 would be sweet. and i heard that full frame DSLRs take good pic in low light with relatively low noise. so i said i wanted 5dmk2. im not really fond of noise but........50d sounds good to me, the grip is so much better compared to my 500d, and oh, not to mention the material of the body, again compared to the plastic 500d. but so far 500d is fine. only, i am not comfortable with the grip and the nailmarks on the surface.

I'm with ya

I decided a month ago that I was tired of dreaming about a 5DMarkII and decided to go out and earn it (besides my regular job and secondary photo booth job). So far, so good...I bought and sold some camera equipment for a quick buck...sold a few prints...sold quite a bit on iStock and Shutterstock...

...only $350 to go

Agree! L glass is great and all, but it doesn't really have to be your first step outside of the kitlensdom. The bokeh per dollar value on the 50 mm 1.8 is quite satisfactory.

You do realize that those are functions of the same thing right? Aperture!

Sure you can cheat. Buy a 50mm 1.8, build up the grip with duct tape to fill your hand and screw a 3 pound weight to the bottom of the camera. That should put you pretty close for just over $100

yes, a nifty fifty sounds good enough for me, thats what im aiming in the near future, but i havent been able to find any shop that sells it. i dont know if its been discontinued or what. heres my plan, im buying another flash, a shot through umbrella, another tripod or maybe a lightstand for the flash, well, the cheap one of course. aandd, yes, the nifty fifty, and a 70-200 or 75-300, or maybe 55-250 whichever is better in terms of well, again price (i mean cheaper) and quality. oh no sorry, i suck at explaining things, can i say...err best value? ah...yeah you know what i mean

well im not planning to buy the 5dmk2 since its out of my reach financially, and i still have to buy other accessories that are much more important, and the lenses as well. it would be really nice to have a fullframe camera but im not aiming to buy one unless somebody decides to buy me one for my birthday present, lol. however, i think i will have to buy like 50d one day because i need another body for backup. but thats not going to happen soon. in about 2 or 3 years maybe.

and actually the fingernail scratches, well, so far i can live with that, but it would be a nice thing to have a better body material.

right, aperture, 1.something aperture will do i guess. even 2.8 on a long focal length will produce good bokeh i believe. (lol why?? why do i always type 'dood' everytime i mean to type 'good'?)

youre buying the 5dmk2? just 350$ to go? 350$ is a loooot of money, well, thats what i think. been having some 'political' problem at work, so i havent been able to earn much lately. i hope you can get the 5dmk2 soon.

the nifty fifty is ok, but the duct tape thing....errrr.....i dont know, how about a battery grip will that solve the problem? i dont know how much is the battery grip needed, if its not that important then im not buying it.
