The other day I bought the book, "Light: Science & Magic". Wow, what an awesome book! If you're looking for a good book on light and lighting, I highly recommend this book.

I'm with you Jocelyna: I've bought that book a couple of monts ago after being recommended by a wonderful photographer friend of mine and loved it.
For those who are more portrait-oriented I would give a chance to Michael Grecco's "Lighting and the Dramatic Portrait", too.

You'll hear no argument from me on that one! I read that book cover to cover when I first started playing with a single off-camera flash, and it stood me in very good stead for when I upgraded to a proper 3 studio light setup.
The Michael Grecco book is also a very good one... Russ.

I second that, I have that book and it's excellent one of if not the best book on Light I have read so far.
