Ok, so my 3 year old has taken my nikon coolpix and has been shooting random shots around the house. We live in an older house - about 30 years old and it makes some funny noises from time to time which I never really thought much of. When I was going through the pictures tonight I noticed that ONE of the photos has 2 orbs in it. I looked at all the other photos and I did not find any more orbs. Even in the photos taken in the same room. I am showing the photo, but blurring out me and my son because... well it's Sunday morning and I am still in my PJs. Ignore the toy tornado that went through and focus on the orbs that I circled in red. Let me know your theories!
Thanks

many say they are spiritual ... Angels, Ghosts... something
i tend to be skeptical 99% of the time, however, mock me if you will, i do believe some are spiritual. because i've seen them partially obsured by peoples heads. i know i've seen allot taken in churches. people at the same event have similar images of the orbs, all taken at roughly the same time.. but later in the evening the same people all have the orbs missing. no drastic changes in lighting. also, if the images were all dust particles, i dont see how they can overlap behind a persons head. if it was dust the orbs would be more consistant throughout the images. but theres hundreds of dots.. next thing theres none, so that makes it hard to believe that dust magically appears and dissapears within seconds. but... 99% of the time IMHO, its IS just dust and internal reflections in the lens. too many people make somehting out of nothing, and then when something truly inexplicable comes along... everyone rolls their eyes because the over enthusiastic have already cried wolf a few too many times. thats just what i think..

Despite the humour, some may actually be confused...
![]() It really is probably just dust or dirt, on the lens (even at the back) or on the sensor. I can promise you, at any rate, that ghosts have better looking figures than that.

Your camera is definitely haunted.
You should probably not keep it around, especially with kids in the house. I usually don't do this, but I'll help you this once. You can send it to me and I'll make sure the ghosts never both you. |

Do you have EXIF data on this image? Did you happen to open your shades before taking this picture? What camera, lens did you use?

...ghosts for sure, sell the house to some Hollywood movie producer so they can make a movie out of it, but by all means, leave tonight!!!
(or you may try cleaning your lens...which ever is easier)

I had a couple of pics like this. Turns out that previously I'd been shooting out in the rain and it was a couple of tiny water droplets that had dried on my lens. Quick cleaning and the "ghosts" went away.
