Default Workflow using PhotoShop

Just when I started to think I had my workflow organised...

I've been getting the hang of things nicely with LightRoom lately. I have a good little system which works well for me, but now PhotoShop has complicated things a little.

If I do resort to using PhotoShop for some of my editing, what should I do with the image from there?
Normally I edit in LightRoom and then just export the image to a separate 'Portfolio' folder. Now with PhotoShop should I do the same using the .tif file extension?
Do you save just the one copy? Or do you save a .jpg as well?

Curious to know how you go about it?

Cheers.

It's whatever is most beneficial for you, really.

Personally, I save all of my RAW files (.CR2 files) as originals. All of the edits I make to my photographs get saved as a .psd file, and then when I am done with my post-processing, I save the final photo as a .jpg. All of these files remain on my hard drive.

Thanks for the reply!

I'm working on some photos now, and I don't seem to have the option to save as .jpg???

I'm not familiar with all the file types, so this is confusing me. These photos are just a quick project I'm working on that will be printed later on (just a standard photo size).

Any help?

Cheers,
