Do I need "Model Release" for this?

Hi,

I've took this shot for a kid playing next to street fountain.

Do I need to have a "Model Release" if I want to use it for a competition or posting somewhere?

I believe that although it's a street shot, still the person is not "fully recognized" as it's not showing the face or identity of the kid... if you know what I mean.

Well, they are asking for Model Release if it's involving another parties.

But I'm referring to this as a "gray" area for me since the identity of the person is not really clear.

In that case I would suspect that, if you submitted that image to the competition, they would ask for a model release. You'll likely need one then.
