Default Panoramic Frames

Hello all!

Who doesn't love panoramas? I was recently enticed to have a couple prints made. The site I chose to use (mpix.com) offered 5"x15" prints, so I went with a 1:3 ratio. Now I'd like to frame these, without expensive custom framing. I did a quick look-e-loo online and didn't find a whole lot of results. Does anyone know of a good place to get panoramic frames?

Thank you!

The widest ratio i've found commonly is 1:2 (10x20). I dont think you'll have much luck with 5x15. Push comes to shove, you could get a 12x18 and simply matte it to 5x15

Yep, and then you'll need to find a custom mat or cut it yourself; I doubt you'll find a precut mat that works.

Really, your best bet is to go custom, it won't be cheap but it will be good.

Hmm. well thats a bummer. They'll probably just end up sitting around for a while. I might try the 12x18 with trimming my own matting. Or get DH to do my trimming for me. Thanks for the help guys!
