Love how the UK has security cameras everywhere video taping you with out consent but if someone wants to take a picture on the sidewalk now its a problem.

I sware governments couldn't run a country correctly if they had the answer book. They seem so incapable of making a right decision any time.

Soon we won't have the right to do anything except pay taxes. I feel bad for you people in the UK hopefully there is a lot of push back and they decide revert their decision.

Good job guys get your head out of your ass seriously it stinks up there.

Yeah, hearing all the stuff that's going on in the UK is making me think less about ever visiting the country. Never had a problem in France, Belgium, or New York City with the camera (except on store wouldn't let me bring it in), but it sounds like the UK could be a menace.

Opposition to these laws which threaten the freedom of creativity should also be actively taken up by the camera and photography industry manufacturers, as it poses a real economic threat to the future sale of their products. Who would want to buy a camera when you can't use it in the streets?

Maybe you can get a hold of some politician and ask for the shorter list of what you CAN take a photo of.
I'm guessing this is what the people want, since they voted these politicians in. If it's not, people aren't really putting up much of a fight, are they?
For now, I'm happy to say, we don't have that problem.........yet.
People on this planet are vastly becoming a huge herd of cattle. Controlled by a handful of greedy troll scum. And all we do is "moo" and go on our merry way.
We get what we wanted.

Agree. Look at all the responses this thread got. Six. Only six. If this can happen in the UK, it can happen here in the USA as well.

+1
We have cancelled a trip we had planned to the UK. Not just because of this but the whole place just seems so hostile and negative. The world is still a pretty big place when it comes to tourism. In our eyes, the UK has dropped right off the radar as a vacation destination.

Where is Guy Fawkes when you need him!
This slow slip into the complete control of government is dreadful They always seem to package in a way that makes it sound like their latest plan is "good for you"

This Bill is a complete disaster. UK residents should kick up a serious stink.
