Thanks to the slow navy mail, I finally received my new 21.5" iMac....
![]() I am more than impressed! I spent all my life messing around with PC. I don't want to judge just yet because I just started using Mac, but I can't help but think that I have been wasting time all my life with PC. I know this post will probably start another Mac vs. PC war, but I have to say that Mac is a great contender, if not better. My photos even look better. I don't believe I have been editing photos and trying to get critiques on them with out a good display. So far I have had no problems with my new system. No frozen screens, no blues screen of death, everything runs smooth. I can multitask without my system slowing down. I can also run windows programs that I had before my new iMac. iPhoto is great! It almost makes me want to leave Lightroom and go to Aperture 3. I will download the trial as soon as I can. Unfortunatly I can't download it at sea because the file is too big. But, I would like to compare it with Lightroom. Well, I can go on and on about iMac but I think I'm going to go play a bit more with it. I'm sure I will learn something else new or find something esle that I like... I just wanted to share with DPS... All of DPSers' advice helped me with the decision to buy this machine... Thanks guys!!!!!

For video/audio/picture editing imac all the way...
For anything else, either system will work, but a PC is more cost efficient and easier to upgrade. I tell any client that if they tell me they are heavily into editing to get a Mac, period. Enjoy yours!
