Default Wow!!!!!

Thanks to the slow navy mail, I finally received my new 21.5" iMac....
I am more than impressed! I spent all my life messing around with PC. I don't want to judge just yet because I just started using Mac, but I can't help but think that I have been wasting time all my life with PC. I know this post will probably start another Mac vs. PC war, but I have to say that Mac is a great contender, if not better. My photos even look better. I don't believe I have been editing photos and trying to get critiques on them with out a good display. So far I have had no problems with my new system. No frozen screens, no blues screen of death, everything runs smooth. I can multitask without my system slowing down. I can also run windows programs that I had before my new iMac. iPhoto is great! It almost makes me want to leave Lightroom and go to Aperture 3. I will download the trial as soon as I can. Unfortunatly I can't download it at sea because the file is too big. But, I would like to compare it with Lightroom. Well, I can go on and on about iMac but I think I'm going to go play a bit more with it. I'm sure I will learn something else new or find something esle that I like...
I just wanted to share with DPS...
All of DPSers' advice helped me with the decision to buy this machine...

Thanks guys!!!!!

You're going to love it.

I made the switch last year and I swear I'll never go back to a PC ever again.

It feels like I have been in the dark for years...lol
As of right now, I'm never going back.
I only say as of right now because sometimes things seem too good to be true and this is one of them...lol

For video/audio/picture editing imac all the way...

For anything else, either system will work, but a PC is more cost efficient and easier to upgrade.

I tell any client that if they tell me they are heavily into editing to get a Mac, period. Enjoy yours!

Mac are seriously a dream come true.

Once you get one of you feel like you're part of some elite club.

Welcome to the dark...oops, I mean wonderful super bright side! I came from a Mac house and my husband from a PC (and they say mixed marriages never work ). Finally, after much cajoling I convinced him to get a Mac. We had a desktop and then added a laptop for him which he took on deployment and LOVED. He came back and hooked his laptop up to the TV and showed me the slide show of his cruise pictures complete with soundtrack. Yay! He was converted!

Anyway, I know that you're going to love it. Oh, and get ready for everyone in your command to want to check it out. Have a great time getting to know your new tech toy!!!
