Default Got 24-70mm lens for the weekend! woo-hoo

Okay, I'm totally excited! I have the Nikkor 24-70mm lens to rent for the weekend for a photo shoot! Can't wait to see how awesome this lens does!

Thought I'd quickly share my excitement. LOL. I'll probably share some photos with this lens soon. Wish I could afford to buy it though.

Just for a portrait (family) session.

A lot of portrait photographers I follow and admire use this lens and so I started researching it more. A camera store in our area has it for rent for $38 for a 4-day weekend, so I decided to give it a try for my next session.

The lens is awesome. It is with out a doubt my most used lens. Way sharper than anything else nikon has in that range. The only bad thing about renting the lens is that you have to return it at the end of the weekend.

No kidding!! I just know I'm going to hate parting with it!

I'm also involved in a new film project and will be using this lens (while I have it) to take shots on set during our next film day on Sunday.

I plan on buying one in a about a week or so... Let me know what you think of it. I've read a lot about it but it would be nice to hear it from someone who has actually used it...
