Talking Snap decision made!!

Friday last week when I left the house my camera bag contained a Pentax K10D, Tamron 18-250mm Lens, a Sigma 170-500mm lens, flash, cards, batteries etc. all the things one needs to take photos.

During the morning I called a fried to discuss an up coming photo shoot. The next thing I know is that I am in the local photo shop hitting the credit card rather hard and walking out with a Fuji Finepix S5 Pro with a Nikon 18-105 VR lens attached.

The Pentax has now been demoted to the second bag of my wife to use. Now I need to do some work to kill the credit card and then get a flash, maybe another lens, who knows where it will end!

Isn't the S5 the same as a Nikon D200 or are there some differences.

Osmosis. A very very good price, to date the photographic club has pushed 49 through the same shop! Also the dynamic res is at about 14 f-stops!

I Speak in math. I am looking at getting rid of the 170-500 Sigma lens and a 70-300 Sigma. Where are you? I am in Cape Town, South Africa.

Ray Dockrey It is based on the Nikon, not sure which body, but all the insides are Fuji design and manufactured. There is an agreement between the two companies that Nikon will supply bodies and lens mounts and Fuji does the rest. Heard on the grape-vine that the Fuji badges lenses are actually Nikon,
