10,000 members - Competition to Celebrate

Many of you will already have noticed that I've announced a new competition over at the DPS blog to celebrate us reaching 10,000 members here on the forums (we should hit 10,000 in the next hour - we've got 6 to go).

To celebrate I'm running a competition for all forum members who are active between now and 14 February. Full details are here but in brief - every post you make on the forums over the next three weeks puts you into the draw to win a prize.

First prize is a Canon Powershot SD950 IS (valued at around $350) - one person wins this.

5 Runners up win either the Digital Photography Book Volume 2 OR a set of rechargeable batteries with a charger.

Posts need to be on topic and genuine to go into the draw but the more active you are between now and Valentines Day the more chance you have to win.

Good luck everyone - and thanks to you all for helping us to get to the 10,000 member mark! Lets see how quickly we can get to 20,000!

competition is open to any person that lives on earth. I know that probably counts out a few of our slightly more bizarre members who are a little off the planet. But the rest of you are safe. Oh - and I'll fix those links.

Nice to hear we are so close to 10,000! I think 20,000 will come even quicker as the word spreads about this wonderful site!
