Hey all,
I've got a small request for you all. I'm currently busy with running an experiment for my MSc thesis and I was wondering if you would like to participate. The experiment consists of a very short questionnaire and after wards playing a simple game. The experiment will take somewhere between 10 and 20 minutes (mostly depending how fast you are )Please note: if your screen has a resolution of 800x600, you will not be able to see the entire game, and therefore you cannot participate I'm afraid. The experiment can be found here: Game: GC1 Thanks in advance ^^ |

Did it. On my Mac (in Firefox), a lot of the text ran off the right edge of the flash box. Not off the edge of the screen -- there was plenty of extra space in the browser window to use -- it just seems that the 800x600 app was too small to fit all of the text in.

Wow, thanks a lot for all the replies guys ^^
Seems the game is working properly for most. Additionally, the leaderboards can be found here (opens in new window). Also, thank you dcclark for bringing this to my attention. I can't seem to find an explanation for that particular behavior. It might be that it's just a funky bug, or there might be something else happening. The text *should* wrap properly to multiline... Though I believe I've heard somewhere that sometimes flash interpretation is a bit off on Mac's. In any case, for the second experiment I shall keep this in mind, so thank you again for the feedback

I'd be interested in seeing your results, when your thesis is put together. I'm sure others would be interested as well!
