11-25% for me. Shutter actuations don't cost too much, so I tend to let my finger fly freely, but I'm also planning my shots more carefully and getting better at compensating for conditions without firing too many test shots and chimping.

Oh, and the new flash is helping too. There's so much less blur when you're shooting at 1/180th all the time.

I take a lot of multiples, and while more than one of them may be keepers, I generally only use one. This sort of eats into my "keeper percentage."

Interesting question I consider a shoot to be a success if I keep 5% .. and as for finding someone half witted enough to want to see the deletions .. lead me to them!

Default I keep lots

But I would say that I think less than 10% is worthy of showing.

I would have to say I keep most all of them but post only 10% or less.

I have to say I keep all of them (but then, I also save empty boxes and Christmas wrap and used rubber bands ).
Some of the Non-keepers I keep are for memories, some for editing exercises, some for examples of how NOT to do it again! How many are WOW photos? 1% or less.

I decided to understand 'keepers' as pictures when trying to achive something in particular so I voted 0-10%. But when the quality is less important (holiday shots, candids of friends/family, party shots etc.) then I guess I'm in the next bracket (11-25%) might even be a little higher when luck is favouring me.
So if the picture is more for memories I'm not veru fussed about the quality, so more of them can be considered keepers.

I put in a high percentage of keepers because so many of them are technically ok if not good. But in truth it's only a very small percentage that "work" and besides, who wants to look at similar shots of whatever. The hard part is picking the one out of 20 or so excellent shots that is in fact the best one.

Last night I worked with a model and made 72 exposures of which probably 65 are just fine. Here it is a little easier, since it's easy to reject the ones where the expression is not quite right, but in the end I know I want to trim it down to only 5 or 6 as true "keepers."
