Hey everyone,
I just read this article over at Pocket-Lint.com, that I thought was very interesting. It talks about the photographers that Getty Images sent out to the Olympics in Vancouver. Great read, but the thing that blew me away was the total price of the gear that they have with them. Quote:
Great read though... just thought I would share Megapixel men of the mountain - The Winter Olympics and the lengths photographers go to shoot it

Yup, you need gear such as that. I have 13 batteries............never know when there's no juice around to recharge them. Especially shooting in the cold drains the batteries rather quickly.
