I very rarely chime in in these threads, but the one thing that stood out to me... aside from the fact that I had to wait a bit for it to load... was that the glowing red around the photos on the home page seemed to trick my eyes into thinking all the photos had a reddish cast to them. Looking at them on the portfolio page it wasn't the case.

Didn't get past the home page as it loaded too slowly and in a very disorganized fashion.

I'm on a pretty smokin' fast connection too.

Loading was fairly quick, though there isn't much for it to load.
The images on the front page do seem to have a colour cast: it's really weird, actually.

The design is simple, so it works on that level, but it's still lacking. Needs some polish.

Im also not a huge fan of the editing used in the "people" section.

It's working now....

Load time was fast for me and your site was easy to navigate. That is always good. I'm not a big fan of the colors, though. It looked dark and the red made it somewhat depressing. One other thing, the text on the "about" page is very hard to read at that size.

If this is your professional portfolio, you might want to pare down the load times, get rid of the "made by wix" thing and whittle your photos down to only your best.

I'd second this... a little too much red for me too.

good start though! The hardest part is over. Now just some polish and pictures!

What is with the comma in your watermark? "Photo by, Phil..." No no no. No comma.

Hey folks, THANKS really to all of you for your time to view the site and for your honest critique. I just made it and planned on doing some changes. Glad to get all your comments as they will help in my editing.
Phil
update: I did remove the red framing on the homepage images. You guys were right it did cast a red color and distracted.
I created the site for fun not professional. WIX offers it for free so I dont mind the WIX links on there.
