Default Color issues online

I need some help please. It seems my photos are fine(according to me ) while in PSElements when I convert to JPEG and put them on flickr they seem to be way cooler(temp wise) than what I have in PSE's.

Does anyone else have this kind of problem, and how would I fix it ? Cant be calibrated monitor problem because the difference is on the same monitor?

What gives ?

Check to make sure your photos are in sRGB before you save them and upload them. That's usually the problem.

I'm a bit of a rookie when it comes to posting online, and I've had a similar problem. My edits look great on my computer, but when I post them online the colors appear flatter and the entire photo is a more underexposed. Any ideas?

Even if the images are in sRGB, web browsers render them differently. For giggles, open the same image in Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome and Safari: they'll never be exactly the same across the board, and they'll all be different than what you saw in PS.

This is a technical limitation of the browser, something that's impossible get around, sadly. sRGB does mitigate this considerably, but it doesn't cure the problem.

I actually learned a lot researching this. I found the best way was to save as "Save to Web" under the Photoshop Elements window. It makes it a GIF file and it worked great. It really was harder and more confusing than it should have been though to get to that point. had to research the Adobe RGB and sRGB.

oh also. do you use sRGB to shoot out of your camera or Adobe RGB ? just wanting to see what others are doing. I was thinking shooting in sRGB and sending to printer as same. I use Bay Photo, is this a good idea, why or why not ?
