Default Thanx for the help - it's G11

thanx for all the pov and expertise answering my what-to-buy question a few weeks ago. I reevluated my criteria (esp. features v. portability) and likely uses over the next two years, and went with G11. Got it yesterday and so far I am a happy shooter.

Good for you! I want a G11 too but I'm waiting for the price to come down a bit more first before I take the plunge. Its £400 in Amazon. You'll have to post how you get on with it and post pics in SYS!

I'm planning to get one before we go on holiday in May. Handy to keep in my handbag. Last year I got abuse when I took my dslr and long lens on holiday by some guy from the RSPB and I don't want that to happen this year. Somehow a G11 is less conspicuous - and more sneaky lol!

Congrats on the G11! I debated between it and the S90 for a long time, but rolled over for the S90 instead. I'm still envious of the G11's flip-out LCD, flash hotshoe, and cable release port, though.
