Talking Woohoo! got Lightroom 2 for less than half price!

I started my 30 day trial of LR2, fell in love with it almost instantly, then went to amazon to buy it. On the market place I saw it used with an unused license key for £103 ($160 US)! I snapped it up, and it arrived just now. I've put the product key in, and it worked (phew!)

Adorama has Lightroom 2 for $199.00 US, $50 off the regular price. Keep in mind that Lightroom 3 will be out soon though.

I went and downloaded a beta version of LR 3. It's free until it is available for sale in April. I'm not sure I like it or not. Actually most of these Dig dark room programs are so beyond me....... Just another learning curve.

LR is awesome.

Not sure how you can have a used copy with an unused key though. Software doesn't work like that. As long as its a genuine key and you were able to register your copy with Adobe there is no problem though so enjoy the fantastic world of Lightroom.

I've been playing with LR3 beta and it seems like a good workflow tool with some nice features. Does anyone know if there are any addins for geotagging or face recognition (like Aperture)?

I started using LR 3 Beta about a month back and it is incredible.

The control over the raw image is tremendous. I just learnt today how to bulk process some general snaps ending in an easy to share jpeg format.

love it and will be buying the license when they ask me to!
