Default Zenfolio issues

I'm considering an account with Zenfolio and have been using the trial version for the past few days. Does anyone else who uses Zenfolio have issues with website performance? It seems like every other time I submit a command to do something (like edit photo info or switch views, etc.) it takes 30 seconds to 3 minutes to accept the command. Other times it's almost instantaneous. This is extremely aggravating and is making me think Zenfolio isn't my cup of tea.

Anyone else have the same issues or have other Zenfolio comments? Anyone know a fix to this problem?

Up until a release several months ago, The performance was absolutely horrible.
Since then I've found that it's been generally acceptable.

I was just about to upgrade from my trial account. Crazy as it may sound, I forgot that I had a few issues the first time I uploaded, but honestly, I blamed not being entirely sober and being impatient, as well as it being my first time stumbling through the process.

I like their options and prices better than smugmug, though, not sure I really want to go through the process of searching again for a site.

I've never had troubles, besides the occasional page stuck loading. In that case, click again / reload, and it's there right away. I also have that trouble with other sites, so I've always assumed that it's due to my crappy service provider.
