Subscribing to threads on the forum

Hi Everyone,

I have been unable to subscribe to the threads on the forums here. Even if I enable the option "subscribe to thread" and they are showing on my listed of subscribed threads, I dont seem to get any email notifications. My email is updated correctly and I have chosen the option "instant notification". Can anyone please tell me what I am doing wrong?

Is anyone else having the problem? That would help diagnose if it is an issue with the DPS servers not sending the emails out or something nearer Avi's end of the connection.

Personally, I don't bother with email subscriptions. I use the User CP link when I log in to see which of the threads I subscribe to have been updated (I'm subscribed to enough that there is almost always something new to catch my attention!).

I just got an email notification regarding the reply that you posted. Weird thing is that I didnt get any for the replies on any of the other threads that I subscribe to. Thanks for the link that you provided, I will keep checking there for replies.

I've had some difficulties. Did you check your spam box?

I did check my spam box and you're right, I did find a couple of notifications there. Although I am fairly certain, there ought to be more of them. Either way, thanks for your help.

I went into a DPS thread notification in my In Box because I seemed to remember something about not receiving additional notifications. Here's what I found in my e-mail:

There may also be other replies, but you will not receive any more notifications until you visit the forum again.

Were there any replies between when you received the e-mail and when you next visited the forum? Because I think that could be the answer to your question.

I have been finding some more notifications off late but I dont think its because of my revisits to the forum as I have been doing that even in the past to check manually for replies. Having said that, I am getting notifications more often now and I am quite ok with it.

I've intermittently stopped getting notifications today, it has been working fine for a while, but I've missed quite a few today and perhaps yesterday
