Default 800, 740, 700?

I was just about to post in SYS (BTW thanks for changing it into someplace worth posting to!) and I decided to review the rules. That's when I noticed the max pixel size is listed as 700.

After double checking other areas and a recent thread about max image size and how it was reduced from 800 to 740 it looks like SYS has it's own unique size restriction lower than 740?

Could a mod verify/clarify this?

It should be 740 site wide (I'm about 95% certain). We went to 800 which fit until the new ads were placed on the site which make things overlap. There was some talk of going to 700 as well though because it just makes everything fit that much better. So 800 is no, and you can pick between 740 / 700, and that applies site wide.

Yeah, I use whatever Flickr's medium size is. It's just easier that way

Hehe, yeah I think I like that idea. 600 is good even for the last users of 1990's era VGA (640x480).

Ads? I don't think I've ever seen any ads other than a couple for the new e-books dps is selling.

Anyway, so the official word is 740 or 700px is fine for all sections. Very good.

Me neither. Adblock plus - possibly the best internet invention ever
