I saw this shot on the dashboard of my Tumblr blog. The Tumblr staff looks out for interesting things and posts what they find. This is not my shot, hence the link. It's an amazing shot and really left me wondering about the background story of it. There is nothing on the page except the image but I was wondering if anyone in the know about horses would like to hazard a guess. In my non-horse-person head I can't imagine why this man would walk his horse that far out. Was he planning to walk him across the sea? It also looks like it would be a bit scary for the animal.
Here it is, what do you think? Sea Horse |

I've not idea as I hate horses but it looks to me that he was trying to ride the wave to enable him to surf onto the horses back. Looks pretty scary for the horse because surley the wave would wash over its head? Cool shot all the same.

Interesting shot. I'm sure no horses were harmed in the making of that shot!!
I've tried 1X before, but that site seems to be more geared toward PP to the nth degree. I've entered a couple contests there, but always seems to be a contest of who is better with Photoshop than a camera.
