Default Moon Photos Tonight

For those of you lucky enough too have clear skies tonight, tonight is the Wolf Moon. Its the biggest and brightest moon of the year. I think its going to be overcast here, but if not, I'll have the big lens out! Lets see what we get.

Good luck,
Mark

I was wanting to get some shots of it rising out of the Atlantic, but it rises before it gets dark.

I really wish it was going to be clear here, but instead we're getting covered in lake-effect snow, as usual. Maybe later in the weekend, when it's still sort-of a full moon!

Bright and clear here, and managed to take this pic, even though I've only got a 200mm lens!

Denver is pretty clear. I got an OK shot of it already. I did however miss my chance at the moon as it was coming up over the plains. I was picking my wife from the airport and caught a glimpse of it in the rear view mirror. It was HUGE and the dust from the plains just gave it a very cool effect. I just didnt have anywhere to pull off to get a nice shot.

I wasn't able to get the photo to load on your page. I will keep trying though. I love moon photos! I went out and took a few photos myself tonight, and am uploading them as I type. I will post a few when they are done. Thanks for the heads up on the moon tonight.
