Default I am a finalist!
A few weeks ago I posted a thread to help me choose a photo for a photo contest. Here is the original thread.

Choosing a photo for a contest

Well, I found out that I am a finalist!! I am one of ten finalists and the winners will be announced in two weeks!

This is the photo I eneded up entering:
Close End of Jetty 1, simple, space on right

Thank you all for the suggestions and comments while I was deciding which to enter!!

Awesome capture on this. The lone fisherman at the end of the pier conveys a sense of tranquility and relaxed pace. Whenever I see pics like this I wonder what went into creating that piece of art, because I am such a long way from there. If you don't mind me asking, what (if any) post processing was done on the original to achieve this final product?

on this all I really did was some tweaks in Camera Raw - cropping, white balance, exposure, recovery, blacks, vibrance and clarity

"blacks" and "clarity" sliders are my favorite!

Nothing really fancy, I just tweaked until I liked the way it looked. :-)
