LoL, I think this is the first upgrade that I can truly justify for myself. About 90% of my work has been at ISO6400 and f/2 or even f/1.4. If I can get even better ISO6400 performance or just as good at ISO 12,800 I can get to f/2.8 and maybe even f/4 in some venues. That will open up a lot of flexibility that I didn't have with a D3.
Your justification could be helping a fellow photographer grow ![]() Even better, with a last name like mine, you could always say you are sending money to the Poorhouse
