Question Would anyone buy...

A Canon Rebel XT in great condition with the kit lens for parts? Mine went kaput last month and Canon didn't tell me what was wrong with it. I just know it's something to do with the battery housing. Canon said it'd cost $360 to fix, but who knows how much of that is labour or just being greedy. LOL Just wondering if there's some way I can make a bit of money from a camera that is only 1 1/2 years old. TIA!

Try the PTON wanted section. There is at least one looking right now. and yes check Ebay to see what it might bring vs this guy's offer.

I am asking $150 CAD for everything that I have that came with the XT kit (lens, battery, charger, body). I have no idea how much it'd be to ship.

Did you try someone with good electrical knowledge. I'm pretty good at fixing things. Wish i was there to have a look at it. Do it power up?

No, it doesn't power up. The problem is in the battery area. It's not the charger or the batteries fault though.
