For Sale: Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS lens w/ hood

I have decided to sell my Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS lens to help fund my purchase of a Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM lens. I have owned the lens since late May 2009.

What is included:
- Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS lens
- Front and rear caps
- Canon ET-60 lens hood
- Original box
- Canon 1-Year Warranty card (blank) and original documentation

I take very good care of my photography equipment. This lens is in great shape as can be seen in the pictures attached. (NOTE: Some pictures show the lens for sale with the Canon 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 lens for size comparison only.) There are absolutely no scuff marks or scratches on the glass or lens housing; the lens looks brand new. It is always protected by caps/filters when in use or storage.

I purchased this set (lens and hood) from B&H, and the retail price is $278.95. I will let it go for $210.00 shipped (within United States only) or $200.00 if purchased locally (Detroit, MI area). This is a nice consumer zoom lens that takes some very nice pictures.

Preferred method of payment would be a personal transfer through PayPal. If you do not use a personal transfer, please add 3% to the total price to cover PayPal fees. Returns accepted (buyer pays shipping) only if item is grossly misrepresented.
