Default Want to buy: Cheap SLR.
I'm looking to buy a cheap film SLR for a friend I want to get a friend back into photography. Unfortunately, I'm limited on the budget.

Looking for sellers who can ship to either America or the UK.

Try KEH.com, or the used sections of B&H and Adorama. Tons of film cameras going cheap. But is there a reason a used dSLR wouldn't be a better choice? Having to develop/print from film is going to eat up whatever savings you obtain over the body.

eBay. I got a Nikon FE for $125 CAD... which is about a third of what they go for locally/from a dealer.

Thank you. I was thinking eBay might be the way. But somehow I felt the DPS forum members would be more…*trustworthy.
