I was going to put this on EBAY this week but I'd happily sell it here first.

Sigma - Lenses

I'd like to get about 275 + shipping for it. The lens is only about 4 months old but I really needed something faster. For someone just getting started it's a good choice. I would highly suggest a tripod for longer focal lengths but that's about the only real drawback.

Depends on what you want from the lens. Any lens can be for a beginner: it jsut depends on what youre looking for.
