What’s Your Preference?

So I went to my local camera shop and was informed the cokin was distributed by minolta which went out of business.
Do you have a set of cokin filters that you want to sell me at a good price. I have nothing so I would prefer to buy the holder and ring adapters plus a few filters as a set rather than piece by piece. (a lens hood would be a plus)

Check eBay. I've seen a few of them up for auction there. You might get a set for a decent price if you're lucky.

I've got a bunch of Cokin filters. I'll have to see what exactly I have when I get home from work this evening.

Ok just let me know what you have. I need it for the P series (the larger one)
I went to ebay but i thought i would try here because i would rather give money to one of you guys than a random and i trust the people here more than on ebay.

Um, what? The Cokin filter company went out of business? Hmm. I didn't see anything about that on their website: Welcome to COKIN.COM and Adorama has the normal Cokin filters too. I see the news that Minolta is bailing, but nothing on Cokin. Cokin filters seem to be still on the market.

If not, I also need to look into filling out my line. There may be some more I need/want.

minolta distributed cokin and minolta went out of business. My local camera shop told me all this.

Oh. Well that certainly doesn't mean Cokin is gone and right now it doesn't appear that they are. Perhaps they'd do their own distribution.

My camera shop doesn't carry them anymore because they went out of business. Tiffen still makes filters for the system but you can't buy cokin stuff new. My camera shop could be wrong but I don't that they would turn people away who want the system. He basically said go to ebay.
Go to your camera shop and ask. I would love to be wrong because i always get nervous buying used things such as filters that could be scratched etcs. thats why i came here because i trust the people here way more than on ebay.
