Selling a New In Box Canon 70-200mm F2.8L USM - bought wrong lens at time of purchase for a client and now have to sell this to avoid high restocking fee. Again this product is new in box so the lens bag, lens caps, and hood are all included in unopened plastics.

Not interested, merely curious: Canon warranties arent really transferrable, and 1200 is only $27 less than buying new from B&H with the assurance of it being a genuinely new product. Not doubting you, just saying you're gonna have to take a hit on the price to make it worth anyone's while.

That is why I said or best offer so no one has to pay 1200 and this is a genuine canon which leads to the whole anyone want proof let me know what you need as proof and I will get it an the 27 extra probably does not include tax and shipping which those other sites charge as well - let me know if you change your mind

as i said in the post they are trying to charge me a 20% restocking fee which is very high

20% off 1200 is 960. You'll likely not get much more than $1k selling it used. + you'll get your taxes back. You're actually better off returning it.

True that. I'm headed out tonight to check out the same used lens. If the lens passes inspection/mechanical checks I'll get the glass and the tripod mount ring ($138 new at B&H) for 1k.

See Hill Country - wouldnt even need to check this lens out as it is has no even had its lens cap removed - and i would do less than 1k if it was offered just to get it sold and move on - oh well
