Not that Im saying this is a scam or anything but a new user's first post is a for-sale for $4000 when the ones I find on eBay are going for $4500-5000 easy.

I do understnd your feeling. I am not a trader. I am prepared to send my lens to one of the offical of this fourm and you can pay it to him and if he feels what I have said is correct then let him send the lens to you and the money to me. This way it should be acceptable to both....or if you have any other suggession I am open to it where the interest of both parties is safguarded.

Let me know.

With a purchase like that, and no other "protections" in place... I would suggest an escrow service with fees shared. Something like escrow.com...

I'd almost consider buying it.....

I am game for it. I am sure of the condition of my lens so I have no problem at all to use an escrow service and also prepared to share half the cost for it...... Let me know and I will send the lens.

Sorry, I didn't mean to mislead you...I'm a Nikon shooter and the price isn't *that* good.
