Default Help!! used camera stores

Seeing the recent spike in Camera equipment due to the recent events I am considering buying used equipment...I found 2 places.....Usedcameras.com & KEHused cameras.com Does anyone now about these places or have dealt with them and if they are worth trying out? If not does anyone know of a reputable store that inspects sells good used Cameras and or equipment?? I usually deal with jack camera but they have had slim pickens lately. Any help woud be appreciated.

I have bought a lens thru KEH and it was exactly as I expected. KEH came highly recommended by a professional photogragher here in my hometown. I can offer no complaints with my purchase. What are you looking for to buy?

For me, it's KEH, B&H, and Adorama for used equipment, but it's getting harder to find what you want at bargain prices any more. They're picked clean on a regular basis, and they do charge a premium for having return policies and service. Still, I prefer going through them more than worrying over eBay or Craigslist sellers.

Another possibility are factory refurbs. Both the Canon and Nikon websites offer them, and while they may be higher than used prices, you'll get a 90-day warranty for your bucks.

If you want a full frame, don't get a 1D. Those are only APS-H (1.3x crop). The full frame is the 1Ds.

Yes. Their listings are accurate, their prices are pretty fair, customer service is good.

I've made two purchases from usedcameras.com in the last year and both of the items arrived in better condition than I expected them to. Not that I expected them to be bad, but it seems their descriptions are very conservative.

They also run discounts fairly often, so if you aren't buying right now you can wait a bit and see if they'll offer a discount for what you're buying.

Edit: I just checked their FB page and saw they're running a deal for 10% off all Nikon products: https://www.facebook.com/permalink.p...d=107407760325

I'd also suggest a local ads system, like Kijiji or something similar.
