Can I ask why you would think that? I've researched it all & though it was a fair price (the backpack is only 6 months old -- purchased for $290)

The backpack is a nice addition but not everyone wants one.

If you look en Ebay-
D50 with one of your lenses are averaging between $100 to $300

But of course everything is only worth what someone will pay for it.

I know exactly what you mean, it took me 6 months before upgrading. The money from selling this is going back into re-branding.
