I’m happy to announce another photography tour to Cordova, Alaska. I’ve been going to this area for the past several years, the same time each year. It is probably my favorite region in all of Alaska. It offers such incredibly beautiful landscapes and diverse wildlife at every turn. I’ve just published a tour description for this Alaska photo tour. What will our subjects be?
Hundreds of sea otters.
Dozens if bald eagles.
Moose (we had amazing ops with several cows and calves this past tour!)
Fields of wildflowers in front of mountain landscapes.
Lupine, columbine, buttercups!
Lupine fields lining the edge of an incredible glacier.
Possibly glacial ice caves - we had an amazing find this past tour.
An actively calving glacier (several hundred feet tall!) only 1/5 of a mile from our viewing area as we eat an amazing dinner and sip on wine.
Pristine rainforest - the northernmost on our planet!
Beautiful glacial melt streams coursing through dense rainforest.
