Default Companies/Sites to trade in gear

I'm not currently interested in selling my camera (Nikon D60) but I'm trying to start looking into it for when the D7000 comes out.

Does anyone have any experiences with companies or chain stores or web sites and selling or trading in gear?

I think I'm more interested in a trade in since I will probably get more cash for the upgrade.

Please let me know if you have any experience.

Thanks,

I think you're best bet is to try and sell it locally. D60 body sells around $300 USD in my area, and even cheaper when it comes with a kit lens. I really dont see anybody giving you more than $300 credit towards an upgrade.

Believe me I tried this route before, companies that accept trade-ins or buy/sell will buy your equipment at a very very cheap price not even close to what you expect. You'll be better off selling it to another person. Try "Craig's Look", good luck!
