yeeeah. Good luck with that. A quick look on eBay shows only a couple of 50Ds, body only, for under 850. None of which I would have purchased.

What Im saying is that your budget doesnt really allow for a 50D.

Who knows...A brand new one is around $1000+ Body only. BTW, I just need a body, I dont need lens(es), and this is not the only Forum I know. I have this thread in other 5 or 6 forums too so my chance is pretty good. Also, When they need money, everything can be negotiated. Finally, Adorama will be my last resource before Ebay

I've got a 50D for sale. It's got about 2000 shutter count and three months old. Still has the warranty card. It's the full ki, plus a free UV filter on the 28-135 lens.t. I'm looking to get $1000 exactly for it, so if you can make it happen I can make it happen! I'll provide photos if needed.

@TheAnt: LOL I was the one that sent out an Email for you but did not work out. I am just like you, try to save money as much as possible. I only need a body and about lens I dont really need. I am willing to pay up to $850 shipped for your 50D right now if you agree. + if you can sell the lens itself, You may able to make some bucks off of that. PM me and let me know... Last call for you

Do you still have the XSi? Is it broken and out of warranty? If it's broken in some way, call up Canon Service, and see if they offer you the Canon Loyalty Program as an alternative to repair. When my registered XT went belly up, I sent it in for service, and was offered the Canon Loyalty Program. It's not always available, and what they offer changes around, but when I did it last year, I was offered a refurbed 50D body for $640+tax & shipping (realistically, it came to about $700).

The biggest difference between this and buying new is that you only get a 90 day warranty, rather than a 1-year one, but if you were going to go used, anyway...

I stil have the XSi and it is fully functioning, Condition is around E+ or even a Demo Rate at Adomara. I bought this XSi as Refur. and it is with me for about 1 yr now and I stil love it. I just want to upgrade to a better Camera and sell this to my friend since he wants it
