I cropped a little off the left.
Cloned out part of the plant I thought was distracting.
Blurred background some more (next time i will not let it "glow" around the plany... it's bothering me, sorry)
Cut out the wasp and made it larger and rotated it.
Made a layer to make it look like the wasp was going inside the plant.
Boosted the saturation
"Dodge and burned" the picture.

Too much fun

jfray0, I really like this...very interesting and unique interpretation.

neonfish3, what a great idea...well-executed too!

his4ever, nice edit...the subtle softness around the leaf really makes the subject pop well...i also like the enlargement and rotation of the bee.

Firemaine
, great tones! very eye-catching and vibrant.

Great job everyone!!!!

I really should've put a note up earlier this week, but I'm leaving this WWYD up until next Tuesday/Wednesday because of the holiday season. I figured lots of people are busy, so it needs a little extra time to get the attention it deserves

WWYD #31

This is my first time doing a WWYD challenge. Is it okay to repost this photos on our own Flickr? Please let me know.

Here is what I did:

Played with the saturation to deepen the colors
Used the straighten tool to change the angle
Discovered a beautiful maroon color after completing previous step
Added a circle affect with the color option
Added another circle affect with the wrap option.

Linda

Linda, nice job! And welcome aboard WWYD! It's fine to use Flickr to host your edit...some of us just indicate that it's another person's original photo, and some of us simply make it 'private' so there's no issue.
