Default A dark fantasy edit

I first took the original and used the magnetic lasso to select the pier, I then cut the pier from the original image, plastic wrapped the sea and sky then pasted the pier back into the image. Next I used the colour replacement tool to change the sky and sea to a darker almost night time look. Job done!

All done using Adobe Photoshop CS.

This is my first attempt at WWYD. I used Photoshop CS4 to do this. I stretched the image to the left and added a gradient BG to enhance the sky. Erased the gradient from the pier and the waer. Cropped. Saturated the pier. It's not finished, but I think you can see where I was going with this.

Default Bridge across forever....

Bridge across forever...

I tried to use the "out-of-bounds" effect using PS CS2 which includes:
1. Adding a frame
2. Masking out majority of the image that emerges from the frame
3. Adding a shadow
4. Toning the image in Lightroom
5. Cropped a bit

Would appreciate any feedback/comments/suggestion
