Nothing major, just replace the BG.

Photobucket

Masked with topaz mask, then added the lines with a shape tool, and then the tree and then added the curtains. A final levels adjustment then up to the web.

I like it for hard masks like the hair in the lady, but I'm still learning because around sharp edges, it is...splotchy...but it does great in rough areas like hair and tree leaves and stuff like that. I use it for changing sky colors.and stuff like that.

I kind of liken it to the Extract script in Photoshop CS3, except that it is non destructive because you are using masks.

Here is another example of where the mask worked out well:

I am going to try to use the selection brushes in conjunction with a stroke to see if I can get the gray line tighter. That seems to be the trick A tight gray line.

When you get it, I would get the package deal. I use Topaz adjust, detail, and noise reduction, more than I use the Masking program.

Topaz Remask is getting a face lift so you might want to look into it next month:

Hope this helps.

Default Editing fun

girl
For this one I used photoscape
Cropped it
turned it to Black and white
then Flipped
Used an auto contrast high and then a contrast enhancement high
Inserted a clip art picture of glasses
Saved and went to serif photo plus software
Picked out the color on her sleeve
Colored in the glasses
Used the smudge tool to try to sort of smooth the glasses edges
Used clone tool to take out couch in back
Closed and exported it then went back to photoscape
Used button for moles (even though looks like an earring) to try to get dot out of picture
Then use a preset custom antique photo effect and this is what came of it
