I would give it the Pseudo HDR Treatment. First I would bring it into lightroom and apply the Mithrandir's Hidden Dynamic Range Preset Process (AusPhotography.net). I would export 6 versions from EV +1 to EV -4. These would then be imported into Dynamic Photo HDR and tone mapped using smooth compressor. Reduce Gamma slightly and export with noise reduction.

You all did some truly remarkable edits to an all ready wonderful landscape scene.

This is great. It really captures the feel of an old landscape painting that's been sitting above the fireplace for a hundred years.
